MARIA SIGURDARDOTTIR is Fridrik Thor Fridriksson’s long-term close collaborator, working at his side on films such as ANGELS OF THE UNIVERSE, DEVIL’S ISLAND and COLD FEVER. Also a trained actress, Maria has acted on stage and in film as well as directing plays at The National Theater of Iceland and the Reykjavik City Theater. REGINA is Maria Sigurdardottir’s first feature film. At present she is developing two screenplays.
